The Best Places to Eat on Bermuda

Island food is the best, right? Fresh, local, often caught same-day, it’s always bright, beautiful, served with a smile, and delicious. Bermuda definitely did not disappoint in the food department. In fact, it exceeded most, if not all, of our expectations! Here are the best places we ate on beautiful Bermuda!

Devil’s Isle

Wow! This was one of the best meals I think I’ve ever had. Even my husband’s “classic burger” was over-the-top special and flavorful. It was massive to boot. And I couldn’t pass up the “fresh catch.” The options were Wahoo or Bonito, and the latter was actually in my favorite dish from my days living in Japan, so I had to choose that! It came in the most amazing, not-too-spicy curry sauce and was served over rice.

The real winner, though? That was dessert! Options included carrot and zucchini cake, churros, apple strudel, and pina colada cake, but my first choice, as you might imagine, is always the one I’ve never heard of. Serradura pudding is a new favorite!

The Duchess Cafe in Hamilton Princess

We stayed at the amazing, historic Hamilton Princess, which featured one of my favorite hotel amenities ever: In-house cafe! We stopped in for a coffee the day we arrived (thank you, 2:00am wake up time!), and I got my most favorite beverage ever: An iced latte.

They also have plenty of grab-and-go options to choose from, like salads, sandwiches, parfaits, and the most incredible sweets you’ve ever seen in the display case. Stop in whether you’re a guest at the hotel or just because you like a photo-friendly coffee shop!
