If you’ve been following along lately, you know my business partner and I recently started a tour operation in Israel! It’s called Elevation Journeys, and it’s honestly the answer to a prayer I didn’t really understand when I prayed it. We have so many amazing experiences ready for our guests, and we are so different from typical tour companies in Israel. Here are some of the most important aspects that set us apart.

Have the Tricky Details Taken Care of for You
I learned some very important lessons on my first trip to Israel–so you don’t have to! Organizing all the logistics, including guides, drivers, opening times, Shabbat, hotel locations, etc., was quite a challenge, even for a professional traveler like myself. But by doing it, I learned what will work, what won’t work, and what can be worked around in a pinch. When we create itineraries, we also take care of all the details to create seamless trips.
We want our clients to enjoy the experience without the stress of the trivial details (which can make or break the trip). The company is Elevation Journeys, and the tagline is “Elevate your faith.” That is at the forefront of all the trips we plan. We want to make sure that all you have to do is show up and experience Israel, because we’ve taken care of the rest.

Enjoy Your Freedom
What’s the #1 piece of feedback we heard from visitors to Israel who went with other companies? “It was too rushed.” “We didn’t have time to do anything on our own.” “I had to skip some of the activities because I was just too beat.” “We wish we had more free time.”
This is what truly sets us apart from other companies. Most trips to Israel are jam-packed and over-planned. And it’s easy to see why–there’s a lot to do, see, eat, and experience in this tiny country! But you don’t have to go at break-neck speed. You can actually get more out of a trip to Israel if you have some free time built-in.
For one thing, it’s essential to schedule a rest day after you arrive, just to get your bearings and jump-start your recovery from jet lag. And for another, you’ll be taking in some heavy history, mind-blowing sites, and faith-changing experiences. It’s to your benefit to take some time for reflection on your trip, while you’re still there. We’ve found ways to maximize efficiency (because you want to see everything) while also keeping a more moderate pace of travel. Our goal with this combination is to help you actually enjoy each day instead of feeling rushed, so that you can truly experience Israel instead of only going there.

Get Everything Included
When you book with us, you get it all. Tips are included, activities are included, museums are included, hotels, transportation, and tours are all included. This is not the case with every company, which can make for some stressful, confusing, or just plain awkward situations. We want our groups to avoid that altogether. That’s why we value transparency in our itineraries and our pricing. It’s important to us that when you arrive, you can relax and enjoy the trip, instead of trying to decide if this or that experience is really worth it because it’s an addition. Can you imagine having to decide whether or not you “should” go out on a boat on the Sea of Galilee?

Take the Most Amazing Excursions
Lots of Israel travel companies offer excursions to Jordan (as do we), but fewer can also offer excursions to Egypt with the #1 Western-led travel company in Egypt! My business partner has run Egypt Elite for over a decade. So many of his clients have requested a tour to Israel with his company over the years, but he needed to partner with someone just as determined to create the kind of experience his clients expect. We actually met when my husband and I spent two weeks exploring Egypt with Egypt Elite in January 2023!
