It’s that most wonderful time of the year again… time to buy presents! I absolutely love finding the perfect gifts for my family and friends, but let’s be honest, it’s sometimes hard to know what the traveler in your life needs or wants. (Besides plane tickets and cash, obviously!) So here’s your ultimate 2019 Traveler Gift Guide with some of my most favorite products (and a few products from my own wish list this year!), ready for all your traveler gifting needs.
Travel Accessories from Marie Mae Company
This is my favorite company in. the. WORLD! For every product purchased, the owner donates one hour of business training to a woman in a developing market. There is no better one-for-one, give-back model out there, nor one that has a further-reaching effect than Marie Mae Co.!
Luggage Tag
You better believe I was thrilled when Marie Mae came out with a hand-crafted luggage tag earlier this year! They are hand-stitched by women in Haiti, and I not only put my name and address inside (in case my luggage is lost), I also fit in a few business cards because I’m always looking for mine when I travel!

The Traveler Gift Set
If you want a little something extra for your traveler, take a look at The Traveler Gift Set! It comes with an inspirational print, monogrammed spiral notebook (to plan the trip!), monogrammed small notebook (to use on the trip!), and the luggage tag mentioned above! I keep all my travel planning notes in one of the spiral notebooks to get myself organized, and I keep a small notebook with me wherever I go. You’d be surprised at how useful old-fashioned pen and paper can be anywhere in the world! Getting the set monogrammed is a great way to make these items extra special for the traveler in your life!

RFID Blocking Credit Card Wallet
I’ve been using one of these for years, and I absolutely love it. I never have to worry about my cards getting scanned in my pocket or purse because of the RFID blocking technology, and it keeps all my cards, ID, and Frequent Flyer card, organized! This one comes in eight colors, so take your pick!
RFID Blocking Money Belt
I was not on the money belt bandwagon until our recent trip to Morocco. It really did hold all our important information (cards, money, passports, etc.), and it was not at all noticeable under pants. If someone you love is heading to a place worth visiting, but one that has a scam and pickpocket problem, definitely consider getting them a money belt!
RFID Blocking Bra Wallet
But if you prefer dresses to pants, this might be a better option! It’s not quite big enough for a passport, but your cash and cards will definitely be safe. It hooks onto a bra strap (or belt loop) for easy access for you.
Best Travel Products
Foldable Backpack
We’ve all been there… you overdo it on the souvenirs or somehow you just can’t fit all your stuff back into the same bag you brought everything in to begin with! Well, here’s the perfect solution: the foldable backpack. This one comes in 11 solid colors and patterns, and it folds up to practically nothing in your bag. When you’re ready to use it, it folds out to a full-size 25L backpack that is water resistant, lightweight, and durable! I have mine with me on my Hawaii trip as you read this!
Packing Cubes
If the traveler you love is not already in on the packing cube craze, they need these in their life! I’m amazed at how much I can fit into just one of these literally every time I pack, and I doubt I will ever pack without them again. They actually work!
Travel Planner Journal
If you have an avid traveler in your life, they are probably trying to plan at least a few trips at once. This planner has space to plan six trips at a time and keep everything organized in one place!
World Map Infinity Scarf
Okay, so I need another scarf like I need a hole in the head, but this one is so perfect! It’s made of chiffon, so it’s very light and soft, and basically maps go with everything, right? Right?
World Lariat Necklace
I’m a sucker for rose gold, but this one also comes in silver and yellow gold! Jewelry is a great way to change up an outfit when traveling because it basically weighs nothing and takes very little space; perfect for packing light and looking like you tried, even if you didn’t!
Pinnable Cork Globe
How fun is this?! What a cool idea. Any traveler in your life, no matter how minimalist, will love to have this globe to fill in with a zillion push-pins over the years.
