HUGE news! I got to be on a podcast this week! Eric Fisher from Finowr Creations got in touch with me a few months ago and invited me on his Light Vision podcast. We talked about how I managed to keep my travel blog alive during the pandemic and how I pivoted from traveling several times per month to writing an entire book series about solo travel experiences in just a few months.
What’s a Finowr?
According to the Finowr.com website, “Finowr” is a combination of Greek and Hebrew words meaning “to shine light.” The misson of Finowr is to shine a light to people through storytelling–a practice that has connected people through generations and across borders.
Finowr’s Life Story Services provide people a way to preserve their loved one’s life stories through a variety of media. The Light Vision Podcast provides a platform for people to share their story by talking about their passions and what we can all learn by sharing those passions with others. And Media Review Monday reviews what movies are saying about our culture, and whether or not going to a particular movie might or might not be worth your time or money.

How Can I Listen?
When you have a spare half hour or so, you can find the Light Vision Podcast on Spotify or Apple Podcasts. Or if you don’t use any of those, you can still check it out and listen here! I like to listen to podcasts while I’m driving, working out, folding laundry, making breakfast, or cleaning the house. And, of course, once we start traveling more often again, I’ll be downloading some for my flights! What’s your favorite way to find time to listen to a podcast?

I’ve also been featured on the Girls Go Abroad Podcast by Addie Abroad to talk about solo travel in Japan. And just last year I spoke on The Good Office Podcast by Marie Mae Company to highlight the business side of traveling for good!
