Are you a coffee drinker or a tea drinker? Or both? I grew up in a coffee drinking family, so I think the coffee must be in my blood! When I decided to go visit my coffee-loving friend Jill in Plano, TX, I knew a post all about coffee would be a fun one to write… and research! Here are the best locally-owned coffee shops in Plano!
Main Street Bistro and Bakery
The first place we went when I arrived in Plano was lunch at this adorable cafe! And when I saw that they have macadamia nut flavor for their coffees, I knew just what was for dessert! I got a macadamia nut cafe au lait (coffee with milk), and my friend Jill got this amazing photo of me enjoying it!

Pearl Cup Coffee
This place is so cute! If you want comfy chairs, cozy couches, and fun coffee, this is the place to come! They get their beans from local Texan coffee roasters, and I love that. I got a strawberry-vanilla latte (trust me, it’s delicious!), and Jill got their signature Pearl Latte, which is espresso with sweetened milk that they make in-house!

The Nest Cafe
This place is adorable! They also have great food, but that’s for another post. We stopped in despite a torrential downpour complete with Texas-style thunder, and it was worth getting a little rained on. The store is super cute, and I can’t wait to go back!

Mudleaf Coffee
On our last morning Jill took me to Mudleaf. It’s very hipster and cool, and I love that they had unique seasonal options! I’d never had hazelnut and cardamom in coffee before, so that was a fun treat!
