About Quick Whit

My Bio

Hey there! I’m a Tennessee native, but I’ve made Washington, D.C., my home base since I graduated college. So far, I’ve visited over 50 countries, starting with Japan when I was 20 years old. Since then, I’ve been helping other small town (and big town) folks find the confidence to travel the world.

Stick with me and we’ll travel outside the suitcase!

My Features

The Good Office Podcast

In this podcast episode, I talk about how travel can be a force for good, anywhere you go. Jillian and I discuss how travelers can experience authentic culture on a reduced budget, the impact of supporting local businesses, and how to spot look-a-like products which aren’t benefiting local communities.

Girls Go Abroad Podcast

In this episode, Addie and I talk about taking your first solo trip. I took listeners on a deep dive into my first solo trip, to Japan, and how solo travelers can have the confidence to take that first trip.

Light Vision Podcast

In this podcast episode, Eric and I talked about how I managed to keep my travel blog alive during the pandemic and pivoted from traveling several times per month to writing an entire book series about solo travel experiences in just a few months.
