Have you ever been somewhere that truly surprised you, and pleasantly so? Somewhere you wish you could have spent more time exploring, or perhaps somewhere you’re already planning to visit again? For Steve and me, Franz Josef Village is one of those places!
It’s Maui Monday! One of Steve’s and my favorite things to do when we travel is hike, and Hawaii has no shortage of beautiful hikes across each and every island. Maui’s nickname is the Valley Isle, so you can imagine the lush green landscape and all the beautiful trails there are to explore. Whether you love mountains, valleys, waterfalls, or beach hikes, Maui has a hike for you! Here are our Maui hiking details.
I’ll admit that I’m a little bit of a contradiction: I hate the cold, but I love the snow! My sweet husband and I both enjoy hiking anywhere we find ourselves in the world. And since this is the Year of Active Travel, I thought I’d do a little write up on the ins and outs of snow hiking!
